Perhaps while they are trying not to get killed in the crossfire of Sunni and Shiite mayhem you could start running eco-theme parks where
1. They can learn the joys of no income or GDP because fossil fuels are no longer aloud?
2. How to set up a thriving tourist industry on an annual sand castle expo
3. Learn how to set up a govt funded protection scheme for some obscure variation of scorpion that imported eco-scientists have managed to classify as endangered

The list is endless how you could improve their lives...

LOL!

Hey, what about a ride, it's a fucked world.

It is a world of tears.
It's a world of hippies,
And a world of fears.
There's so much that we scare,
That is time to tax and give welfare,
It's a small world after all.

There is just one moon,
And one golden sun.
Free solar panels for everyone ,
Though the taxes will rise,
And the economy will die,
It's a small world after all.

Only the elite will be able to afford the exhorbitant prices demanded by the operators and no doubt this will exacerbate factional fighting amongst the extremist Muslims as resentment increases.

Meanwhile the Americans will drool over the predicted profits and the cost of construction - whilst little consideration is given to healthcare and education? Few Iraqi hospitals can provide basic healthcare - clean water, antibiotics, anesthetics and basic drugs. Oxygen, gauze, rubber gloves, and diagnostic instruments such as X-rays are rarely available. Hospitals are now battlegrounds and education has deteriorated to the point where children are unable to finish their education. Iraq used to lead the world in education and healthcare, but now with the US in charge - the kids can remain uneducated, malnourished and disabled and peer through the wire at this playground for the wealthy and see how the other half have fun.

With the current conditions of Iraq at war, the death statistics continue to spiral upward. The diseases of the developing world are affecting Iraq’s children – pneumonia and diarrhea. Malnutrition is wreaking havoc with the growth of Iraq’s next generation. The London Guardian reports that in addition to these many physical traumas, millions of Iraqi children have been psychologically traumatized by the war.

While there are no definitive data on Iraqi adult patients seeking medical help, one recent report from the Washington Post notes that the thousands of injured Iraqi security forces have no place to go for immediate treatment and no long term rehabilitation for their loss of limbs or other physical injuries. This lack of treatment for Iraqi patients is surpassed only by the lack of psychiatric and psychological treatment. Compounded by the inherent societal stigma associated with mental illness (which is prevalent even in developed countries such as ours), these Iraqis endure suffering beyond our western comprehension of the recovering soldier or child.

Education specialists in Iraq say they are concerned that pupils and students in the current academic year will leave school without completing this year’s curriculum, and new graduates will not be competent to pursue their careers.

“Violence and lack of resources have undermined the education sector in Iraq. No student will graduate this year with sufficient competence to perform his or her job, and pupils will end the year with less than 60 percent of the knowledge that was supposed to have been imparted to them,” said Professor Fua’ad Abdel-Razak, an educationist at Baghdad University.

“Many other factors have worsened the situation, including the lack of experienced professionals or good salaries for teaching staff, a paucity of text books and no work experience during their last year at college,” Abdel-Razak added.

Country-wide violence is keeping more and more children at home, while public infrastructure continues to deteriorate. With municipal workers facing daily attacks, streets are in need of repair, street lighting is often non-existent, open sewers are common and many public and school buses lie in garages awaiting repair.

"Children don't need Disney to foster their imagination. Disney is a parasite on childrens' imagination."

A beneficial parasite. Not like the violent computer games that geeks seem to enjoy.

There is no such thing as a beneficial parasite. At least, not beneficial to the host. It is a contradiction.

Not in every case. What could once be considered as a parasite, although with further studies they could be concluded as a symbiotic relationship.

Your bias and lack of progeny might preclude you from seeing the bigger picture

So there are benefical parasites because symbiots were incorrectly identified as parasites?

So you were wrong in your description of Disney being a parasite?
