Systemic branch stacking in NSW now. Jodi McKay was always a bad choice. Chris Minns would have been a better leader.

Labor’s woes: scenes from the Godfather?
AMM 18.06.20.

Labor MP Anthony Byrne discussed the possible ‘decapitation’ of an ALP colleague, savaged Bill Shorten, and wished for Daniel Andrews’s ‘political death’.

And that’s only the beginning and possibly heading for the end of Labor as they enjoyed it for decades. It seems that many onlookers might have misjudged the “meek and mild” persona of Andrew Byrne who appears to have viewed one too many episodes of the Godfather.

The federal Labor MP embroiled in the branch-stacking scandal discussed the possible “decapitation” of an ALP colleague, savaged Bill Shorten as a disloyal and ungrateful private schoolboy, and wished for Daniel Andrews’s “political death”.

Federal Labor MP Anthony Byrne also attacked one former NSW powerbroker as a “crooked, corrupt f..k’’ and dismissed his federal colleagues as lacking the “judgment, understanding and intelligence’’ of ousted Victorian minister Adem Somyurek.

'Crooked, corrupt': Explosive private text messages leaked as Labor scandal escalates
By Rob Harris June 17, 2020 — 8.49pm

Veteran federal Labor MP Anthony Byrne called former colleague Sam Dastyari a "crooked, corrupt f---" and labelled a female MP a "drunk" in dozens of text messages released by former party powerbroker Adem Somyurek as apparent political payback.

Mr Byrne, the deputy chair of Federal Parliament’s powerful intelligence committee, also called an unnamed female Labor activist a "ratf---er" and said he wanted to "piss on ... the corpse" of former Left faction heavyweight Alan Griffin.

The personal messages to Mr Somyurek also savaged former leader Bill Shorten, Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews and retired Victorian federal MP Michael Danby.

The Age has seen a political document containing details of the private text between the pair, which were released after Mr Byrne told this masthead he had offered authorities his "full assistance" into their inquiries over industrial scale branch stacking in the Victorian ALP.

And now how about a bit of in depth analysis of the decline and fall of the Socialist Labor Party ?

This business in Victoria is looking more and more like a hatchet job by the Andrews faction to wipe out a rival faction in the Party. Their ‘fix’, no more pre-selection of candidates by the rank and file for three years, everything run by the Party-appointed administrators, Macklin and Bracks, (both with… shall we call them ‘debatable’ political pasts), is a stitch up worthy of the worst (to borrow a US analogy) Tammany Hall excesses.

Andrews and his cronies are willing to suffer a few bruises themselves to destroy their rivals within the Party.

Having said that, I cannot believe what politicians are willing to put into electronic ‘print’, knowing (Surely they know?) that NOTHING is private once you hit that ‘send’ button – and once sent, it never goes away.

One could be forgiven for thinking Byrne is a good guy and not the bottom feeding scum like those he sought to destroy. I know he’s still a politician which means he can’t be trusted but he has done the country a great service.

These events could be loosely likened to the theme of the book “power without glory.” You have to wonder why many politicians are corrupt, corrupt from the word go when they stand for office, for the people who promote them for office must know that they are corrupt and yet don’t do anything about it.

But how come the voters of Victoria (soon to be renamed Jabbawocky) are not up in arms? Is Andrews even a legitimate MP let alone Premier? After all, he is totally dependant on “the numbers”. I’d say Andrews was feeling some heat for his BRI deal and needed a distraction.

The Virus looks positively harmless compared to the flesh eating bacteria demolishing the wreckage of the Labor Party.

Victoria’s new ‘blood sport’— a Colosseum event!
AMM 18.06.20.

The now self-immolation or implosion, you might say, of the Labor Party, there is much identification of it as a spectacle long awaiting exposure and it sure is going to get it in spades—this will be an extravaganza best seen in a Colosseum.

In hindsight, I wished I had accomplished more from the membership of the Labor Party in the Bayswater, Frankston and Cranbourne branches that I didn’t know I held.

But credit where it’s due.

The Victorian Right showed itself to be a class act.

Not for them the ugly NSW Right model of cash piled into bacteria-laden Aldi bags.

No. A pristine blue manilla folder was the preferred vehicle for the carriage of some allegedly black folding stuff. One must maintain standards after all.

Is Dangerous Dan done for this time ?  Who is IBAC when he is at home ?

IBAC launches investigation into Labor branch-stacking scandal
By Noel Towell June 17, 2020 — 6.55pm

The Andrews government faces a full-blown anti-corruption investigation that could extend beyond the branch stacking scandal that has already seen three ministers depart the frontbench.

The independent Broad-Based Anti Corruption Commission (IBAC) confirmed on Wednesday that it had launched "Operation Fortescue" after the government referred the allegations of large-scale branch stacking and other corrupt conduct to the commission on Monday morning.

An investigation into the Labor party branch stacking allegations is now underway.

IBAC, whose investigators visited the home of disgraced former minister Adem Somyurek on Tuesday, confirmed it would examine "other matters" reported in the media as well as more complaints which it had received following Sunday night's explosive revelations aired by The Age and 60 Minutes.

"IBAC's Operation Fortescue will examine a range of matters concerning allegations of 'branch stacking', and other matters aired recently in media reports, and other related complaints made to IBAC," the commission said in a statement.

it seems some within the soiled fungus covered walls of the shattered Labor Party see it as hopeless and doomed to remain in Opposition for the next 3 years.

Expletive-laden texts plunge Labor Party into fresh turmoil
18/06/2020

The Labor Party has been plunged into fresh turmoil, after explosive texts from a federal MP were leaked to the media.

Labor leader Anthony Albanese sought assurances from Labor MP Anthony Byrne that he had not broken any laws after it was revealed his electorate office was bugged to record the backroom dealings of disgraced former Victorian minister Adem Somyurek.

In a sign of apparent retribution, text messages were leaked to the media showing Mr Byrne disparaging his Labor colleagues.

In a series of expletive-laden messages, Mr Byrne described former Labor Senator Sam Dastyari as “crooked” and “corrupt” and said former Labor leader Bill Shorten “makes me sick to my stomach with his ingratitude”.

Mr Byrne also wished for the “political death” of Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews and said he wanted former politician Alan Griffin's “head cut off”.

Labor leader Anthony Albanese addressed the scandal on Thursday morning, describing Mr Byrne’s language as “completely unacceptable and inappropriate”.

Mr Albanese said he “counselled” Mr Byrne on his language, but said he had no intention of stripping Mr Byrne of his deputy chair position on the parliament's Intelligence and Security Committee.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the scandal showed the Labor Party was “absolutely at war”.

“We’re fighting for jobs, while they’re fighting each other,” Mr Morrison said.

Gee I bet the Chinese are annoyed just when they thought they had Dangerous Dan bribed to the hilt and in their pocket.

But now more dirty Labor deeds expected to be revealed!!!

Labor bracing for the possible leaking of more 'damaging texts'
18/06/2020

Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says he has been informed more potentially damaging text messages in relation to the Somyurek scandal could be leaked within the coming days, heaping more pressure on federal Labor leader Anthony Albanese.

I've received some information over the past couple of hours that there are some more leaked text messages to come out from Anthony Bryne, who is at the centre of this sting on Adem Somyurek," Mr Clennell said.

"If what I am told is correct, these (texts) would have real implications for Anthony Bryne's place on the Intelligence and Security Committee.

Among the exchanges, he (Bryne) disparages Kevin Rudd ... and that he disparages Kristina Keneally, the opposition's Home Affairs spokeswoman. That would be a challenge for Anthony Albanese if it is true."

The Federal Government looks set to pressure Labor to dump MP Anthony Byrne from the powerful Intelligence and Security Committee after allegations he was involved in the covert taping of Mr Somyurek.

Mr Somyurek has been sacked from the Victorian cabinet and has stepped down as a Labor MP after 60 Minutes published a series of explosive secret recordings allegedly showing he was using branch stacking to gain political power within the party.

It is not known who provided the recordings that were the catalyst for Mr Somyurek’s downfall.

Mr Clennell said the Coalition is trying to "wedge" Labor on the issue by insisting it is up to Anthony Albanese to decide whether Mr Byrne should stay on the committee or if he should step down.

"The PM has raised the stakes, saying “in the first instance” it is up to Anthony Albanese whether Byrne remains on that committee," Mr Clennell said.

"Despite this, Albanese is intending to keep Anthony Byrne on that committee."

And the excitement of the annihilation of Socialist Labor never ends. it is like watching one of those old Roman Gladiatorial fights to the DEATH.

Somyurek vows revenge on those who secretly recorded him
19/06/2020

Fresh text messages are leaked as axed Victorian Minister Adem Somyurek vows revenge on those who secretly recorded him.

Mr Somyurek said he was looking forward to the litigation process which would reveal evidence of all those involved in secret recordings which led to his sacking.

Mr Somyurek was axed from Cabinet and banned from the Labor Party for life after secret recordings revealed he allegedly masterminded branch-stacking activities in Victoria.

After it was revealed the covert recordings were made in Labor MP Anthony Byrne’s office, Mr Somyurek appears to have launched a campaign of retribution.

In text messages leaked to the media, Mr Byrne appears to have bragged about using media contacts to “destroy” a man’s career.

“Gimme a sec. I am just dealing with Nic McKenzie and about to destroy a guy’s career,” he said.

Text messages leaked on Monday also revealed Mr Byrne disparaging former Labor senator Sam Dastyari, former Labor leader Bill Shorten and Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews.

Labor leader Anthony Albanese on Thursday said he “counselled” Mr Byrne over his language but insisted he backed Mr Byrne to remain deputy chair of the parliamentary committee on intelligence and security.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison said “these are very serious implications”, adding it was “a test for Mr Albanese as to whether he thinks Mr Byrne should continue to serve on that committee”.

The Fowl Stench of Corruption in Labor is overpowering.

Effluvium rises from Labor’s mausoleum of corruption
AMM 19.06.20.

The old adage, “familiarity breeds contempt”, rings true concerning the Labor Party and no greater example is their current disaster.

NSW state Labor leader Jodi McKay was given a 37-page report on branch stacking and corruption in March and yesterday said that she hadn’t read it all—she did bugger all!

She also insisted her party does not have systemic issues with branch stacking and corruption.

Image
And now enter the “mouse that roared”!

We are supposed to believe that Labor Leader Albanese, who flops about more like a St Bernard puppy than an effective political leader, has muzzled his merry band of prevaricators lest they step in more loads of puppy poo.

Anthony Albanese has “muzzled” senior opposition colleagues and adopted Bill Shorten’s widely criticised communications strategy in a bid to control Labor messaging ahead of the crucial Eden-Monaro by-election.

Oh the pain ScoMo must be feeling from laughing so much!!!   God must have a sense of HUMOR!!!!

Will the Labor Party be deregistered as a political party as a matter of National Security ?

Membership-rigging exposes Australian Labor Party’s rot
By Mike Head 18 June 2020

Image
Albo - how much longer can be last ?  Will ScoMo intervene to keep him there until the election ?

Revelations this week of “industrial-scale” branch stacking inside the Australian Labor Party (ALP) have shone a light on the advanced decay of this party, which has been the central political instrument of the ruling establishment for over a century.

A near year-long investigation by the Nine Entertainment’s TV and newspaper outlets, involving secret cameras and recordings, exposed a key ALP powerbroker in the state of Victoria, Adem Somyurek, and his staff members enrolling and paying for bulk party memberships.

The recordings show Somyurek ordering others to forge signatures and create false statements claiming that people paid for their own memberships. Reportedly, up to 4,000 of the ALP’s claimed 16,000 members in the state of Victoria have been registered this way.

Moreover, “everyone” in the ALP leadership knew that this was going on, despite the feigned shock of Victorian state Premier Daniel Andrews and federal Labor leader Anthony Albanese.

Nor was this simply a Victorian state issue. On the basis of his known membership-rigging, Somyurek had risen to become a member of the ALP’s highest body, its 21-person national executive.

Read on and be shocked and amazed at the level of anti-Australia graft, bribery, and corruption that the Labor Party is riddled with!!!!
