One episode to go.

My verdict so far: it sucks.

The book hasn't been written yet so the producers winged season 8. Such a shame really for such a strong series.

I think they've been winging it since about season six? I read the books and it starts to move away from the source material after season five.

Six and seven were alright. Hell, season seven actually got me interested again after I kept falling asleep during six and five.

I dunno, 8 just seems so unsatisfying. All that build up for jack shit.

Just getting it now. I still have #5 to watch first though.

People are calling for it to be redone. Not going to happen though.

It's available to stream on Foxtel as of an hour and a half ago. I wasn't in a hurry to watch it but I need something to do since I sprained my friggin arm yesterday

Of course. Self-entitled fans  imagine if they remade every franchise that went down the path of 'suck'. Get over it, move on, and get into something else. It isn't the end of the world.

I have never watched GoT but notice that it is on Foxtel today and even one of the guys on Sky News mentioned that the last episode would be on "in half an hour" or something earlier today. :rofl

It's the most talked about show in the world. I mean, it was good, but way too overhyped. Even at it's best.

Well that last episode was absolute garbage. It had an unexpected outcome, but it wasn't enough to carry it through.
