I think so. I've only ever had one flu vax in my life, and I honestly don't recall EVER having had the flu, but I will get one this year. It won't stop you getting CV but it will help in stopping you from getting a double whammy. Especially at a time our hospitals could become over loaded.

I'm thinking about getting the pneumonia vax for the same reasons.

If you're unlucky enough to get co-infected with flu AND covid, you're basically fucked.

GET. It's $20 fucking dollars!!

I paid $100.00

$80 for a non bulk billing doc and $20 for the jab. I didn't want to wait for the chemist because I reckon there will be a rush.

Is it $80 for a Doctor's visit now? WOW. My Doctor bulk bills everyone. She's great too. It's nothing to be in there with her for an hour.

It's a pity she isn't doing the flu vax anymore and was very apologetic. I rang up another practice today and they said they weren't taking any new patients. I should have suspected that but I am trying to avoid Medical Centres if I can.

I have 2 doctors. One bulk bills and is OK for very basic stuff. The $80 one is about the best GP around.
He can get you to the top of elective surgery waiting lists with a phone call, always has vaccines, and he's great with his hands. He's pulled sea urchins out of my feet, stitched me up, removed stitches, vaccinated my babies and they hardly cry. Worth every penny.
