Ha! Your family is like mine then.

As much as I hate to admit this : Christmas is no longer something I look forward to.
Its meaning has lost its spark in all the revelry and wanton gluttony.
That sums it up well.
Did you know that the worst time of the whole year
for violent family arguments is Xmas?
No I did not know.

Having said that ...I'm not surprised by this.

Hi Lisa,
I think I've got Covid.

I'm not feeling well - could I have Covid?
I have cold symptoms.
I'm very sick now - temp of 38.4 Celsius - that's 101.1 degrees Fahrenheit
I took 2 Panadols at 6.30pm.
I’ve been in bed for most of the day.

I hope I get through this.
I have no RAT tests.

Hi Lisa,
I'm still alive this morning.
Yes I am triple jabbed but
my last jab was Jan. 2022 - 11 months ago so
its efficacy would now be zero.
My doctor is closed - yet the internet website says he's open.

I think I got it at a food court in a shopping center about 4 days ago -
a fat Chinaman was coughing everywhere and not even putting his hand over his mouth.
He was only 2 meters away from me but by the time I moved it was too late -
I must have got a lung full of Covid.

Thanks Lisa,
no one is happy to get a dose of Covid.
The only good thing is that I will be forming plenty of Covid anti-bodies in my blood
that will be far more powerful than any vaccine.
Day 6 and I've developed a new symptom - a very sore throat.

Betadine Sore Throat Gargle Concentrated 15mL

It's on special atm too.

Thanks Lisa but the sore throat has mostly gone away by itself.

I also had some nice soup that may have helped:

Jan 2
I made my favorite invalid recipe soup tonight:
capsicum, onion, garlic, herbs, salt, ginger, chicken
and asparagus put in 5 minutes before serving.
I ended up having 2 bowls of it.
It was excellent.

You can't beat home made chicken vegetable soup.

Well done πŸ‘Œ
