2GB just said Lib leadership challenge is on
The Libs are scared of losing their seats as a result of the NEG.
It was a NEG type thing that sent Turnbull packing last time.
Probably it will happen after the next 39th Newspoll loss.
Mr Dutton has accepted the challenge.
Oh isn't exciting. Silly Billy will be having kittens as he sees his dream of wrecking Australia and then retiring on a PM pension like Gillard and Kruddy.

Jim Dutto is a straight talker that is a pleasure to listen to. He is an ex cop and is used to analysis and dealing with the worst sort of people and so he is ideal for handling the union brown nosers in Labor.
Rumor is Silly Billy is having an attack of the horrors!!!!
Australians want a Trump style leader and now they are going to get it!!!!
Senior cabinet ministers move to quell talk of Peter Dutton leadership challenge
By David Crowe 17 August 2018 — 9:50am
Cabinet ministers are trying to quell new talk of a leadership challenge to Malcolm Turnbull as government MPs threaten to cross the floor on energy policy, pulling the trigger on a wider debate over the Prime Minister’s authority.
Finance Minister Mathias Cormann played down speculation about a backbench approach to Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton to recruit him as leader to replace Mr Turnbull in a showdown over energy and climate change.
The speculation came after Mr Dutton acknowledged in a radio interview on Thursday that if he did not support a government policy he would have to quit the ministry and move to the backbench.

I'd rather Dutton than Turnbull. At least he might get immigration into line.

That's about where I stand with him too. Bring it on!! I don't think it would be detrimental to the election. I think it would be a positive move.

The Lefties don't like the thought of a Trump style power govt that gets things done and rams the cowardly political correctness rubbish into the trash can.
Standby for the announcement of a new HELE coal power generator and some new dams from PM Dutto.
And possible withdrawal from the UN Paris Accord.
The normal straight voters will lap this up and follow the reinvigorated Libs by the thousands as they celebrate and revere the savior of Australia from the destructive Socialist insanity of Labor and the Greenies.

Turnbull will sign the UN Migration deal. Dutton probably would not, at least not in its current form. The UN have no right to oversee our migration.
Ditto for the Paris agreement. We should pull out of it.“We’re not going to surrender our sovereignty. I’m not going to allow unelected bodies to dictate to us, to the Australian people,” Dutton told 2GB.
