Labors Carbon Tax agenda - If re- elected

Post by mellie » Wed Apr 23, 2025 11:39 am

Labor had hoped Dutton would forget to address their intentions of re- introducing a Carbon Tax, that will hit lower income families the most. Those whom Labor claims to advocate for most, historically. 🤫😏

This Carbon Tax ( pollution tax rort ) was repealed by Liberals ( Tony Abbott) back in 2014, due to critical challenges re- it's rollout and unacceptable impact on all Australians, not just our big poluters ( as Labor and Greens falsely claimed) as this tax inevitably trickles down to every single consumers transaction from their household energy bills to the petrol pump , the supermarket checkout, schools, hospitals, chemist and beyond, as big companies pass this tax down to the consumer to please their shareholders and adjust their own budgets...the buck stops where it hurts Australians most.
By design, this is the Tax that keeps taxing, and will result in more hardship for already struggling Australians, even middle-class Australians will feel the burden of this tax that Labor thinks Australians will gladly embrace out of climate fear, and gladly swallow it following the election with a free cup of coffee ☕.

This Tax by design isn't just engineered to target big poluters, the intended target was always going to be the consumer, all Australians.

So, it's just another tax that Labor needs to burden Australians with due to their inability to manage a budget.

Jim Chalmers has this as his last card, Australians need to know what they're really voting for at this election.

A big fat Tax.
