The Royal Commission is being covered up

Post by Bobby » Fri Sep 04, 2026 6:29 pm

The Royal Commission is being covered up -
it's been made mostly secret.
What a waste of money - $131 million inquiry that we can't see.

Anti-Semitism royal commission ends public hearings with
Virginia Bell on defensive about confidential report

The former High Court judge said she wanted confidential sections from two reports by the $131 million inquiry about the attack on December 14 last year made public. But such a step would only happen after Naveed Akram’s murder and terrorism case finishes — his father Sajid died in the attack — and would be a decision made by the federal government.

“After conclusion of the criminal proceedings I propose substantial parts of the confidential volumes of the interim and final reports should be made public.”

No politicians were required to give evidence.

Police officers and intelligence officials were mostly questioned in private. While the confidential hearings protected official secrets, they meant that important questions were never asked publicly, including what the intelligence services knew about the Akrams before the attack.

So - Albo never wanted a royal commission so he made sure that whatever it found
would be kept top secret - another $131 million wasted.

My bet is that the security services knew something was up but never acted upon it -
they dropped the ball.
It's a Govt. embarrassment maliciously covered up to give Albo
a better chance in the next election.
It reeks of politics when a Royal Commission should be like God - above everything else.

It shows that the Australian Govt. has too much power -
they can make the results of an inquiry top secret -
that's exactly what has happened.

Question for Albo:

How many people will be able to view the entire report?
