Why are all models weighted towards the plus side of CAGW?

In the short term they have been adjusted and done predict catastrophe as they did.
In the long run they do because that is what it predicts.
They were weighted I think because they were leaning to the conservative side. I think they were biased in doing this.
Today with all the scrutiny this is not the case.

Why have the scientists tried to "hide the decline"?

A couple did and they got caught out.

"the scientists" is too sweeping and the sins of a couple should not brand all.

Why the push for "action now"?

because the longer we don't react the worst it will be. It takes a long time to reverse.

Why "the science is settled"?

I don't think the science is settle. there is room for improvement but that is science.

Why invent catastrophic scenarios?

They are not invented, they are derived from data and models to the best of our current ability.

We didn't invent the process of how the sun works... we derived it from our theories and models.

A consensus is the majority of opinion. That is what we have.

Why try to scare?

The conclusion is scary then there is not need to try. Frustration with inaction may lead to the scary bits being highlight so they will take action.

Why force emissions trading?

We shouldn't. I am against it as I have stated. Blame someone seeing a way to make a buck and other finding a way to not change their emissions. Wrong solution. makes it worse.

I am suspicious. That's why I am watching and forming an opinion with great interest.
My conclusions is informed by looking at both sides of the argument. The current forecast and all the bodies I have some respect for confirm the findings from the researchers I give this more weight.

I am more suspicious of the denier who is so fuck'n selfish that they do not care about the long term health of our world. That is illogical and if they continue to be our leadership and as a species we continue to elect them into office, we should die out so the next intelligent species can learn from our negligence of our world which provides everything we need to live.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released its latest major update in Japan on Monday, with claims the effects of a changing global climate are being felt across the globe.

The UN-led IPCC report, Climate Change 2014: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability was produced by 309 authors and editors from 70 countries and backed by many governments around the world.
