Moved Whitlam up. TPA will allow govts to knock cartels apart. slashed tariffs. Introduced Medibank (dismembered by stupid Fraser but reinstated and now safe: even fucking Howard didn't dare dismember it)

Yes, because we are now dealing with the travesty of his govt which will take quite some time to overcome.

No,

in terms of inflation, deflation, stagflation, re-inflation and etc; Howard et al did quite well to pay of Labors debt to the world. But the biggots in the ALP are now givng us another one to pay. So, we really are the stupid country, for voting for such retards. Not only did we pay imediately for installing Labor, we are paying now, and will pay perhaps more severly than we ever have in the past in the future, until Labor is put to rest.

Sure there was 'inflation' during the Howard era; it was used to pay the debt. Most people were better off than they are now. Now, we cant afford inflation, cant pay debt, cant grow, will get inflation, have a shrinking gap between rich and poor differently because there will be more properly poor, and the same rich number will be OK.

Not only that, but Labor now knows this to be a truth. The only thing they had correct pre-election was private debt. Ifn Howard had addressed this sooner, it might have seen us better off, but only marginally as the ALP came to power just as we paid of their government debt.

And what of trade surplus now?

The Whitlam Government (1972-75) introduced the Trade Practices Act and slashed tariffs. It established a comprehensive national health care system with Medibank and opened the door to State-funding for non-Government schools based on need. It brought the vote to 18 year olds, made university education free and replaced adversarial divorce laws. It recognised that national governments have a critical role to play in urban planning, development and renewal. It established diplomatic and trade relations with China and ratified international human rights treaties

I cannot comprehend how anybody can realistically believe that and I won't waste my time arguing it with somebody who is so close minded as to do so. It is particularly stupid not to understand that this financial collapse has been brewing for the last 4 - 5 years and consequently under the stewardship of Howard et al.

Howard is worst PM. After not having the guts to tell Shrub we wouldn't take part in the illegal/non-UN-sanctioned iraq war did not have the guts to tell Shrub we would take our troops out of Iraq christmass 2003. he had said troops only temporary. A worm.

Throw in the never-ever GST, the non-core promises, WorkChoices, Siev-X, children overboard, treatment of detainees, Gitmo and Hicks and the growing shame many Australians started to feel with him as PM.

Where's the vomit emoticon? (emeticon?)
