Yup, Newspoll confirms the ACN, Attabull has a negative net satisfaction rating.

Essential research, interesting that the "Howard/Costello" myth of good economic managers seems to be clung to by only 16% or so of people--didn't take long for that myth to disappear!

Newspoll steady at 52:48. Turdbull up a statistically meaningless 1% to 19% as PPM. While the Oz seems to be trying to hide this poll :) the fact Attabull hasn't really improved as PPM very likely means he is still in negative net approval territory.

Tensions in the Fib party must be palpable with Mesmerelda being destabilised as Deputy Leader by Five Swinging Dicks and Stubby. Who is getting ready for another leadership challenge? A Costello/Hockey team? Can't believe Costello has what it takes to spend 4 years minimum as Opposition Leader--no ticker unlike Bomber Beasley. So if Tip is not going to challenge then who? Fat Boy and . . . ?

Mr Rudd's disapproval rating has risen slightly, that of Opposition Leader Malcolm Turnbull is also up four points, to 46 per cent.
http://news.theage.com.au/breaking-news ... -acta.html

Rudd's disapproval rating rise is statistically insignificant, i.e. noise. Attabull's 4% disapproval rise is well about Margin of Error and would have him nearly 10 points in the red on net satisfaction--knives being audibly sharpened in the Fib party room.

Full tables: http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/fi ... spoll.html

Attabull net satisfaction: -9%

27% say Labor handles the issue of asylum seekers better, against 26% for the coalition. 6% for someone else, and a whopping 41% for none/uncommitted.

57% say tighter laws against refugee arrivals would make no difference--this holds among all age groups so so much for the "BBGen hegemon" whatever the fuck that means (from another quality post from the Sheep Pen.)

It’s a dead issue. Too bad for the Fibs.

AC Nielsen 53:47

Now, ACN is somewhat biased, in their sampling algorithms, to the Coalition. Notwithstanding that, there does seem to be a drop in Labor support and this seems to be related to the proposal to lift the age where you can draw the old age pension to 67.

So, will the totally opportunistic Fibs now start opposing this move? Watch this space!

NB: tip commissioned THREE fucking Intergenerational reports, yet never had the guts to actually do anything like this. The Wasted Decade :(
