A few years back I sprayed nearly the whole lawn with roundup, now have fruit trees & veges, flowers etc. Occasionally an awkward to reach patch gets a bit of a spray.
When the bit of lawn left gets bugs blackbirds come and eat the bugs.
What makes you think they don't?Like, why dont the greenies Like that Bob Brown advocate for more trees.
You've got it wrong Whitey. Bob Brown is into conserving what little nature we have left, so that our children's children will know what native animals and tropical forests look like. He also wants to ensure that future generations grow up with fresh food and drink unpolluted water. Just the basics really - he certainly isn't in it for the money. What he's had to put up with over the last couple of decades far surpasses any politician's wage. He is Australia's only truly honest politician and unfortunately he's getting older now, but he still hasn't slowed down in his quest for a humane and economically sustainable country. No, B Brown nose is just in it for the votes, the gay rites, a marriage certificate and a leave pass on the most crucial and dangerous threat to living man, carbon released from Gods' Sun.
It means that the stats look less surprising than the headline. They seem to be only based on 40 years of actual observations, and as such it's not all that surprising that at least one recent month would show up as the "extreme" of that period.mantra wrote:Hmmmm. You sound like Kevin Rudd boxy. What's that mean in English?I'm no statistician, but the figures seem to be based on far too short a time of actual observational evidence, and extrapolated over a longer period.
"Consequently, the estimates below, while considered the best available, are still approximations and reflect the assumptions inherent in interpolation and data processing
Why don't you pay attention to what's going on around you before gobbing off?White Indigene wrote:Wow,
nattering tree huggers,
wheres the 'political' volks?
Like, why dont the greenies Like that Bob Brown advocate for more trees. Perhaps the weirdo ring-in lefty front doesnt really understand the science of true carbon sequestration. Perhaps they are all about supplanting God with the 'wisdom' of men. What a barrren place that can and might soon and sometimes be.
A number of major rivers in New South Wales have been cracked, drained and polluted by longwall coal mining. Rare upland swamps, particularly those on the Illawarra Escarpment and on the Newnes plateau near Lithgow, have dried up or had their water balanced altered. In almost every case, the groundwater table drops without recovering.
Mining is currently taking place inside Sydney's water supply catchment and further mining is proposed within Sydney and the Central Coast's supply catchments.
Mining companies are not held legally responsible for damage caused to natural ecosystems and water supply catchments, nor are they required to pay compensation

Indeed. And here's the idiot's guide to a perfectly repeatable experiment.freediver wrote:Unless of course you pull your head out of the sand and look at the science.Furthermore, there is no link between carbon emmisssions, and GW,
