In Australia, the default position is that everyone is presumed to be an innocent honest person until the contrary is proven beyond reasonable doubt. In the case of Gillard, not only has there been nothing proven against her beyond reasonable doubt, she has not even been charged with any dishonest conduct or misconduct, and what also goes to solidify the default position, no-one has yet been able to enunciate even a simple allegation of misconduct or personal dishonestly.
