Peter Beatty - public service now more like a sheltered workshop, wages & related costs to maintain the ps increased in 2012 by $18b (or 39% of the Qld's total recurrent expenses)
Under Beatty a 160+% increase in wages of upper levels of the ps (quick promotions and reclassifications from AO5 approx $78k to AO7 on approx $98k)
Campbell Newman discovered that the Unions had some Qld ps being paid - to do nothing for 10years! And Rudd doesnt want this to change!!!
