The Libs have done all they can to hobble the unions, even to kicking the three car makers out of the country. Then COVID hit. . . Libs are bloody useless and have been since Pig Iron Bob created it. So was the UAP before it, so bad leading up to and into WWII that two independents propping up the UAP approached John Curtin and offered him their support. Curtin accepted and became PM, our best PM by a long shot.

Pity Chifley wanted to nationalise the banks—we entered a 27 year snooze, until the Whitlam government was elected. I rate Gillard as second best PM to John Curtin as PM.

what the libs fail to realise is that if they continue down the economic path they are pursuing of forcing up prices whilst forcing down wages and conditions, eventually they will get to a tipping point whereby people will once again flock to unions to try and restore some of their losses.
