Uber's death knell

Post by Aussie » Tue Oct 25, 2022 10:03 pm

NZ has made its call. This will happen in Australia and when it does......bye bye Uber.

Thing is....how much of the Taxi Industry will still be left when that happens.

Link.

Uber drivers are EMPLOYEES!

Bugger Uber,
I know a person who was an Uber driver for a short time.
He lost a lot of money from it - he was having trouble making $5 an hour after accounting for expenses.
He had even bought a new car to use as an investment in the Uber business.
He lost money when he sold that too.

Uber has ripped off the people who bought proper taxi licenses and
they have ripped off their own drivers.
I reckon they're criminals.

And they are being sued in Australia for being criminals. There is a massive class action taken against them by Maurice Blackburn.

The Uber bosses should have to pay compensation to all taxi owners who bought a license
and to all their own drivers they ripped off.
Look forward to a nice payout.
I also hope the Uber bosses are sent to jail for fraud.
