LOL. When I heard about that I thought, yeah whatever. But then I saw the footage on the news. That guy has a good arm. I think he's been practicing that throw. I bet his loungeroom is littered with smashed TV sets.

Bush took it quite well and was calm and even joked about it. I can imagine if it happened with Howard - he would immediately be surrounded by his body guards while shaking in his boots and then rushed out of the place.

Given the fact that I do not watch TV, listen to the radio or read the newspaper when I saw this I thought that the Prime Minister of Iraq had punched George Bush which I personally would have given him a big high five to but no another brave soul threw two shoes at the bastard. Good work. Hope it left some mud on his face.
