Howler's opinions have space in......naturally.......today's Oz, courtesy of Dennis Shanahan. I wonder who wet themselves first, Dennis or Chris Mitchell?JOHN Howard has accused Kevin Rudd of "stretching the facts" of the global financial crisis in an unsustainable economic argument to score "a base political point".

Hyperbole and one-upmanship
Old dogs go on and leopards never change spots. Think of any other analogy to the holding fast to one's ideology and you'll be describing Little Johnny Howler.

It is astounding how even after over a year the Left is more obessed with John Howard than they are doing anything while in power.
Howard haunts the Left like the Ghost of Christmas past.
The Left postures in the present and does not actually think of the future.

Let us start by saying the Left is the chanting slogan-protest that democratic West is always wrong, that we can not win any war, even against weak opponents, and we weep like new born babies over bush fires.Postul8 wrote:Is that a fact. No no no...not just 'The Greens' anymore. This is Labor trying to move slightly to the left to try and capture the green left and picking up the loonies in the wash. It's like trying to scoop leaves out of a stagnant pond..as Adam would say. You mean the Greens!
Not only will the stinking algae always get on you despite your best efforts but they multiply because there are a lot of stupid people out there that think they are part of the 'intelligentsia' because it makes them feel that little bit less than the moron that they are.
As much they want to declare themselves a 'leaf' as far as the rest of society is concerned they are nothing but mulch because of the amount of loonies that inhabit the left
If you want to play in the shit be prepared for it to stick

Yes Labor is trying to capture the Green Left - again, but they mightn't be so successful this time around. Rudd still hasn't fulfilled his obligations to them from the last election. No no no...not just 'The Greens' anymore. But you seem to forget that the "loonies" that are now inhabiting the left - were once the rabid whingers from the right. They just woke up to themselves. No matter how many mistakes Rudd makes in his first term - he will be forgiven because he portrays a human being - something the man of steel didn't quite manage. Although Rudd will have to learn from his mistakes next term because he mightn't get a third chance.
