How long before the warmists give birth the the next Mengele?KANGAROOS used in a university experiment will be caged and suffer extreme distress from confinement, Animal Liberation says.
University of Wollongong will keep kangaroos in a cage one metre by 1.3m by 1.7m for nine months to measure the methane gas they expel, Animal Liberation executive director Mark Pearson said.
"For the NSW State Government to approve such a pathetic experiment for someone's PhD on global warming is unconscionable," Mr Pearson said.

"The matter is still under consideration," Mr Goldie said.

Mengele probably said the same as he sewed the twins together 'in the name of science'

Re: Global warmists cause animal suffering
The anti-meat brigade has targeted cattle burp methane as a major GW/CC contributer ... so roos/wallabies reputed nil or near zero methane expulsion probably needs more confirmation. The premise being roos would be farmed.
The characters trying to run this test/experiment didn't have the resources required.
Such small cages wouldn't give true readings because the test subjects are in appropriate conditions.
To do it properly, they should have had a big shed with full spectrum lighting and the methane metering gadgets ect.

How many animals need to be tortured to prove the warmist theory?

Didn't say I agreed or disagreed with it being done, just the excuse/reason its being conducted.
Personally I don't condone this example because the cages are obviously far from adequate.

It's disgusting. The experiments are being done under a Labor government which fortunately will be non-existent after March 26. Let's see if O'Farrell puts a stop to this torture when he becomes Premier in a couple of weeks - after all he's a kind old Liberal and we know the Liberals wouldn't hurt animals - with the exception of Howard who resurrected the live animal export industry after it was dead and buried.
The Greens aren't supporting this experiment - which is abhorrent - so don't infer it's some sort of Greens experiment IQ because it's connected to methane gas.

It seems that you stick your fingers in your ears when in comes to Greens inspired torture
Do you not think that your atruism has a price? You should think long and hard about that but being a Green, you won't and will sacrifice whatever you can to further your insidious cause
You make me sick

The theory is proven beyond doubt, except in the minds of doomseekers who regard religion as more credible than science.IQS.RLOW wrote:How many animals need to be tortured to prove the warmist theory?
Now how many animals will need to be tortured to satisfy Genetic Engineers fantasies?
Scientists Create 'Cyborg' DNA
http://news.softpedia.com/news/Scientis ... 6819.shtml
A group of researchers in Denmark is working on creating something entirely new on this planet – lifeforms that contain an improved version of the double-helix DNA. They are, for all intents and purposes, seeking to create stable, triple-helix deoxyribonucleic acid.
The only problem with this form of genetic manipulation is that PNA is soluble in water. This means that the strands cannot function inside a human body, for example. The UC team is currently working on developing a means of water-proofing these strands.
Once they manage to do so, they will be able to create stable DNA-PNA triple-helix structures, that could be inserted in lab animals for further testing, Daily Galaxy reports.

Scientists are also looking at ways of adding roo gut chemical to cow gut chemicals in the hope of reducing methane output.
