Hyundais aren't very forward at all, chew fuel and are hard and expensive on parts.

If you have deep pockets and don't mind taking paint off your car in a drive through then Hyundai is for you.

Don't take my word for it, take one for a test drive through a Hungry Jacks drive through lol.

Oh and spiders are seemingly attracted to them also, frequently building nests in external parts ie, Side mirrors.

creepy spider wagons.

Oh, and they're prone to paint fade, particularly the burgundy variety.

Be sure it's not been concealed with cut n polish colour wonder before purchasing.

Perhaps take for test drive through car wash?

For that price I'd be looking at a Hyundai IX35.
You'll get the most up to date tech. The Mitsu would be an antique
I am ok with antique.

hired a calais a while ago, disliked it. Too many gadgets and flashing lights.
Too many controls on the seats, too heavy.

SUVs are by nature, expensive to run - they consume more fuel, being four wheel drive and use more tyres. They are IMO a blight on the road, being too tall and too larger for drivers in ordinary cars to see past easily and should be banned from cities. Sedans/Station Wagons/Hatchbacks are better.

I personally drive a Hyundai i30 Diesel. Easy on the juice, has adequate acceleration and more pull than a schoolboy. ;) It has never had a spare part added to it in the four years I have owned it. Well worth the money I paid for it. :thumb
