Handles were hijacked, modified, banned then reused by those in a position to take the forums into hand.

One such handle was cut and pasted into Google, and came up with odd characters, not even English.


Were you a mod over there Roach?

Lisa and clan somehow wriggled their way into the precious.


Long after I left, my handle was being used and reinvented in an attempt to undermine gaslight.

This should come as no surprise, has this not been a recurring theme across numerous associated forums since?

Whoever developed and owns this site provides a telling clue as to not only why fairfax ditched it's forum's then later it's classifieds but whom ultimately stood to gain most from crackers seedy shenanigans on their forums.

I joined Cracker in 2007, just before the Federal Election. I was looking around for information on the Election and came across the Cracker Political Forum. Many of the people who still post here at PA or over at OzPol were at Cracker. Freediver came running in telling all that he was starting a Political Forum (OzPol) so most of us joined up over there. PA came a bit later.

People I remember from Cracker were:-

Deepthought
Freediver

I have obviously missed a few but Lisa Jones was NOT at Cracker when I was there. Many of the people at OzPol arrived after the Yahoo Forum closed down and were not at Cracker.
