Don't hate me Nef,

But I bought our Kathmandu jackets for 40percent off a few week's back.

Looking forward to wearing them when it's freakishly cold here.

:bgrin

Indeed it is. You can feel your toes wearing runners in Canberra.

Predicting snow this year.

It kinda snowed here last year but was mostly slush.

Dirty slush.

Hoping to see proper snow for the first time.

Apparently I saw snow when I was 3, touched it then cried. Lol.
awww ... you were so happy you cried... :bgrin

the coldest time in our generation was, for me, late 60s and into the 70s ...

historic data is saying we are about to be that cold again...

and yes..

I believe it could snow in Ballarat...

when my brother was going to UNI there back in the 80s his water pipes would freeze solid...

a little bit warmer in Camperdown back then... but I recall the puddles on my uncles farm would freeze over at the top.. and we would throw stones at them to smash the ice... good times... :buddy

but bloody cold!! :(

Ha ha ha..... no, didn't cry with happiness, my mother tells me I hated it.

I don't recall either way, but can tell you, I really want to see snow in Ballarat this year, not slush.

:)

Aaaaaaaaww. That's harsh Mechanic.

Personally, I love the place, with its historical architecture, lack of .... ahem.... non-white crime gangs, and plenty of culture and things to do.

Melbourne is now the official asshole of Victoria.... think u have to be one to put up with it too. Kidding.

I totally agree..

Ballarat has plenty of culture, architecture, history and liveability...

right at this very second...

if I worked full time in Melbourne.. for instance... I'd live in Ballarat and travel by train to work each day...

Geelong housing pricing has exploded!! ... while Ballarat is still affordable...

get in while you can...

and you can always build 5 star + housing that will keep you nice an warm on those wintery days...
