Leonard Cohen said it best: "The less there was of me, the happier I got."

Listen and learn from old farts. They do have something to offer

When young, listen to the old buggers because they are generally right.... to late now to do what they said I should have done 35 years ago.

Bugger....

Tell the young ones the same and they don't listen either.

One of the things I have learned throughout life is PATIENCE. Although it is often stretched I have learned to control it.

Like I said, mine can be stretched to the limit in some cases but, in general, I think I have improved in that area 8-)

Sorry, I disagree. I pride myself as being very perceptive and can't recall ever disliking somebody first off and then later becoming best friends ... or vice versa. Even on these Forums, I can detect those that I would never, ever want to meet in Real Life and those that I would. Doesn't everybody feel that?

Males get to be Grumpy Old Men from about 55. Females take a bit longer to become impatient, irritated and angry. I think I've gotten there.
