Travel

Post by mellie » Fri Apr 13, 2018 1:29 pm

I feel treacherous saying this but I have absolutely no ambition travelling around Australia, rather have a burning ambition to travel abroad, ie, UK, Italy and especially Portugal (we have family there).

Anyway, wishful thinking aside, my budget dictates interstate travel or a short cruise.

Thankfully our church host's regular family holidays though what are some other affordable family holiday destinations that are suitable for energetic kid's?

Oh and please, no Melbourne or Sydney city suggestions because we have pretty well covered this.

Was considering Byron Bay, Perhaps SA????

Cania Gorge is a local cold spot. High altitude.
Check the temps.

Oh ok.

Will check it out. Admittedly, I do like the sound of a gorge.

Swimming, fishing, reading, believe it or not cooking, I'm easily pleased, just feel like taking a break, we haven't had a proper holiday since... well, since EVER really, so it will be her first holiday that's not just visiting relative's.

I'm thinking along the line's of a carnival cruise, with kids club etc.

Just a short one because I suffer with motion sickness. Will need to get a prescription from GP before we go.

Philip Island is another option.

If we go on a cruise, it will be a sampler cruise around the bay first.

The spirit of Tasmania was a shocker I rocked and felt ill for days afterwards.

The company didn't help, lol.

Prescription medication for serious motion sickness is the go.
