Why?

[Valkie]

Standing on a beach, fishing rod in hand.
While the surf gently washes up onto the sand and receding again with a sandy whoosh.
Watching the sky turn from deep blue, gradually to red/ blue then as the sun broached the horizon the light plays on the waves from the horizon to the beach.

I don't need to catch fish on a beautiful morning like this, just being there is reward enough.

I love the look on my grandchildren face when the see me walk through the door.

They smile and yell "grandpa" as they run to me for a cuddle.

At my son's home, it's all four at the same time, they range from 6 to 15 and they are treasures all.

How anyone can harm a child eludes me
And if any harm my grandchildren, they will have me to answer to.
