I first heard of wicking beds for gardening about 3 months ago.
All of the people in my local 'Food Growers' group who use them highly recommend them.
I made 2 to test the idea. They work really well. I am now making 4 more.
My ones have a sight gauge for the water and as an overflow also I don't use a fill tube.

Right Wing is the Natural Progression.
