At our parliament in Canberra you can be as pissed as a parrot and still make
a speech in the Senate or house of Reps.
They all get on the piss at lunchtime in the cafeteria.
Look at Barnaby - drunk out of his mind lying in the gutter
and he was acting PM at one time.

Heard recently that a rule will come into place that politicians that don’t behave etc will be dealt with or dismissed … about time hey?
In past I recall how our PM Hawke would make lewd sexual comments at women walking past or grab their butts.
Of course he gets away with it, to now… since this alleged rape trial between them 2 mentioned above.
An example is being made of this.
And neither are innocent. Both had plenty drinks that night.
Really? - a new rule about drinking?
Will they have zero alcohol polices like many companies do?
Hawke was a shocker and, even so, I didn't mind him too much. I guess at least he was honest about being a shocking drunk and womaniser. I wasn't so much into politics back then and didn't take much notice.
My dad was at a conference with Hawke once and he was horrified lol.
