I dont have a problem with you, I find you up-front, you tell it like it is, albeit a little bluntly at times with certain members.
I got the net around the same time, though didn't get involved with message boards until Cracker, about 12 years ago.
I remember my old dial-up modem lol, and netscape (I think AOL) the browser.
I actually joined cracker to ( bitch and moan) vent on the political forum re- the AWU (union).
I was a delegate (involuntary really, I got lumbered with it) and the union officials were as usual, trying to screw over the workers.
I recall my first dial-up internet being so unreliable and slow i'd use the internet at my Uni library because doing so at home was expensive and time consuming.
We all were given student log-in's to log into OVID, (to research for assignments, and gain access to journal articles in closed-reserve etc.. but we all were more or less forced to book a sitting and log-in at the uni library because it was virtually impossible to do so from home.
