Cyclone Alfred ( Albo)

Post by mellie » Fri Mar 07, 2025 11:48 am

Updates appreciated.

There's too much information out there, including fake videos and expired updates from our leading media outlets.

ABC seems more concerned with WA election outcomes and trying to smear Dutton than providing updates on Cyclone Anthony.

Bom apparently decided to change the cyclones name from Anthony to Alfred, couldn't have it tainting Albo's image now, him being their priority afterall.

How generous it was of our government to spring 15 mil for certain northern NSW councils for the cleanup bill following this cyclone.

Is it too late to ask the Ukraine for the 1 Billion we recently donated to them for military aid back?

Ok, let's try and lift the overall mood...

Why did Anthony Albanese want the name of the cyclone changed?

Because he didn't want it stealing HIS election thunder.

*boom boom* :c

Ok, that was crap, anyone else got any positive updates re cyclone Albo?

A relative called and reassured me that it's going to cross the coast as a L1. Hmmm, I am thinking how can they be so sure about this, especially once it hits all that nice warm water from Brisbane's and or the Gold Coasts shallow man made expanse of lagoons, canals and rivers?

I hope she's not trying to reassure me to return to her unit, which is absolute waterfront. Hmmmm.

Besides, I'm more concerned with the storm surge itself, not so much the wind. It floods all the time somewhere up there, northern NSW to the sunny coast.... so it won't take much, particularly with dams already nearly at capacity.

Anyone have an update, other than what's being echoing from our MSM?

Perhaps they don't want people requesting information about cyclone shelters or storm tide evacuation areas because there aren't enough for over 4 million panicking people and their pets?

They're telling people to stay at home unless told to evacuate, however my cousin and her husband did this during the 2022 floods in the outskirts of Brisbane and they ended up getting stuck on their roof, then rescued. They have evacuated their farm early this time, weren't prepared to wait until the flood waters to reach their ceilings.

Fair.

Under this government, I just can't trust any of their agencies or departments, so....
Too much lip-service and very little actual service.

Only time will tell I guess.

Not to mention there's been a number of failures concerning this beuros accuracy in recent years.

It's rough when you struggle to trust your government in times like these, I wouldn't trust Al'Baloney with a chook raffle, much less a natural disaster.

John Howard's lick-spittle pales in comparison to Al'baloney's lisp.

Brisbane airport is closed.

https://www.bne.com.au/passenger/flight ... departures

All passenger flights in and out of Brisbane Airport have been suspended until further notice.
Operations will recommence as soon as it is safe to do so.
Passengers for upcoming flights need to contact their airline regarding flight status.

It's more than a lisp, he pronounces his 'T' s as 'D's ...I think to suck-up to the Muslim community. He seems to be trying to create the illusion that he's one of da boys, lol.
When he provided an update last night for Alfred, he really was enjoying himself way too much for my likings.
Seriously, delays election due to a tropical low pressure system?
Lismore always floods, nothing new here.

Albos now using this tropical low pressure system as a means to fling money towards notorious flood plane communities in exchange for votes and to delay the election as much as possible.

" what a lovely guy, helping out those poor cyclone victims "

Trump won't strike a trade deal under Albo, so the sooner he's gone the better, the man's a mennace.

The sooner Albanese has gone, the sooner we can get down to serious business.

He's like a really bad performer whom despite being booed and told to leave the stage by the audience, refuses to l eave.

How embarrassing, man has no shame
