Re: Cricket
I searched for pictures of "beer nuts" and got a bunch of Yank things. I am sure that as you are (apparently) an Aussie, Nobby's would be the ones you NIBBLE.

Re: Cricket
I am beginning to wonder whether Clarke made the correct decision to "declare". Currently the score is 2/105.

Yes Clarke could have batted on, built up an even more insurmountable lead.
As well as personal gain (400 plus runs). And Huss making a double.
But instead need only 8 wickets to win (2 days remaining). The focus is on winning.
India cannot win.
And there is that possibility that rain could interfere.

It doesn't rain in Sydney, does it? Not when the cricket is on, surely.

However usually it doesn't interfere with the result.

It never bloody stops raining lately, and thanks for the jinx Nef, I think a storms coming in...

This said, it sure beats 40+ heat.... we had 12 days of blistering heat last summer, so it's only fair Melbourne have their turn.

Not sure why Haddin gets selected apart from being from NSW.
Drops a simple chance just before stumps on Gambhir (66).
There's better keepers than Haddin in Australia (Pain, Wade) and they too can bat, just that they're not from NSW!

I missed that! Bugger. Gilly was the bestest Keeper! Great to see all the support for the Jane McGrath Breast Cancer thing too ...... all those bright pink outfits. Bing Lee even dyed his hair "pink".Bart wrote:Not sure why Haddin gets selected apart from being from NSW.

Oh, good to see Clarke has moved on from the Bingle person but now he is seeing a person called KYLY, another "model".

Gee let's not hold our breath for Cricket Australia to do something similar for Prostate cancer.
