I think Charles would be brand damaging. They need to skip him and go straight to Billy Boy and Kate.

Unless Charles abdicates or dies (or has major health problems ... whatever) he will be the next Monarch after Queen Elizabeth. William and Kate will just have to wait and who is to say that their marriage will last?

I am not a Monarchist but I think QE2 has done a great job. I admire her. What happens once she is gone, who knows? She isn't about to stand down for Charles and could live to 100 like her mother did. She is 87 in April and still seems to be in good health. She could reign for another 10 years or so, by which time Charles will be on his mid 70's. I can't see him handing the Crown to William, since he has been waiting to be King since he was a little boy.

One thing about The Duchess, she is an attractive young woman. Anyone with the basic good looks and lots of money could be groomed to look like her (or Diana). Diana had Class, held herself well probably due to her upbringing. Kate really needs some lessons in decorum, how to stand and walk and alight from vehicles ... there is nothing gentile about her, she strides about like a ...... Her lower class background really does show, despite the clothes, hair and jewels.
