The next model will be released soon. The Nexus 5 and should be 4G compatible with a bigger battery. I've had a couple of google phones and they have all been reliable. The Artist formerly known as Sappho wrote:What do the tech heads think of this one?•Network Band : GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900, 3G 850, 3G 900, 3G 1700, 3G 1900, 3G 2100

Man you are missing out. Touch screen is great for viewing content. Just crap at creating it.Neferti~ wrote:I guess I will have to upgrade my old Nokia phone eventually! So much new stuff out there. I was only thinking this morning that I should get a "smartphone", not that I need one as I rarely make calls on the old Nokia ... $20 a year does me. LOL Still, with a smartphone, if I am hanging around waiting for people I can DO something rather than twiddle my thumbs. If I have nothing to say, I say nothing. I am not about to ring people because I am b.o.r.e.d. because I am never, ever bored. Also connect it to Wireless, etcetera.Super Nova wrote:Man you are missing out. I love my touch screen, IPAD like but a full blown PC as well.
I use the keyboard as normal and touch for windows apps that are designed for touch. best of both worlds.
Windows 8 needs more apps though.
