A problem with after effects of an operation (heart) apparently. At least he didn't suffer for several months with bloody cancer! Died peacefully.

I had a crush on Jon English as a teenager. I saw Jesus Christ Superstar on stage 3 times when he played Judas. A lovely and talented man taken too early. He was hospitalised after he had a fall and broke a rib, although the aneurism which followed was unrelated.

Yes, in the 70's (long hair and all) he was rather "attractive" ..........

A good friend of mine wrote songs for and played with Jon English so I met him several times. BIG shock. Big big shock. RIP.
