This is possibly the most retard comment ever on Ozpol, and I mean EVER. Imagine the perp (or a possible accomplice) was inside and the cops turned up and knocked on the door and said, YooooWhooo, it's the po po, and the girl was harmed.
If they think a girl is inside, they go in fast and heavy.

Why didn't they just pick the lock and walk in calmly?
Or get the spare keys from the housing authority office?
What sort of solid, heavy-duty security door this this state government housing authority home actually have?
Who may I ask made that comment Gordon?

I notice the perp was taken to hospital after being injured in his holding cell, was that self inflicted injuries or done by others?
I think he was bashing his head against the cell walls.
OK !!

I wondered as I know pedos usually have to be housed separately in Gaols as fellow crims with children of their own will attack them.
yes.

Good question.
Sometimes a locksmith can pick a lock in one minute -
without all the fuss and danger of breaking down doors.

My understanding is they had caught the guy before they broke into the house.

But why waste time when looking for an abducted child, who knows, there may have been an accomplice inside!

It makes a noise picking locks and you would probably alert someone, if they were inside, and anything could have happened to her before they got inside.

The poor little girl had been missing for 18 days. SMASH down the door and get in there would be the most sensible thing to do. You can replace a door. You can't replace a life!

But a clever locksmith can very silently open a door and get inside to surprise anyone there.

My sentiments exactly!

BTW I will have to tell you one day about getting a machine gun pointed at me when the AFP raided the house next door for people smugglers.
