My son saw a wild dolphin in the Swan today. I think he saw one last year but he was too young to know what he was seeing, this time his response was magical.

He was rapt and kept pointing every time the dolphin surfaced.

This is perhaps the greatest thing about parenthood (and it an't all great let me tell you), you start to see the world as a child again, and it becomes such a beautiful, wonderous place.

Why do we forget that as adults?

These diver blokes wear budgie smugglers, yet I swear there has been no budgie apparent.

I mean, compare with Shirvington!!!!

....and why do they have to have a two second shower after exiting the pool?

I was wondering about the showering too. Maybe to get rid of the chlorine?
