Anti-radiation medicine in Australia

There is no single "anti-radiation medicine" in the Australian market
, but rather different products for different situations, such as StrataXRT® gel for skin damage from radiation therapy, and Potassium Iodide (KI) tablets for protecting the thyroid during a nuclear emergency, though these are not widely available and are only for emergency use under specific direction. More advanced drugs like the multi-organ protectant SAi001 are still in development and not yet available
