You guys just can't turn a trick, can you.

What are you doing differently from all the other states than brings you so much grief.

Good luck, hang in there.

Daniel Andrews' government has been rocked by a mass exodus that has seen three key MPs quit politics on the same day.

The Victorian Labor Party has been thrown into disarray after three parliamentarians threw in the towel on Wednesday.

Altona MP and former Attorney-General Jill Hennessy, Yan Yean MP Danielle Green and Ringwood MP Dustin Halse have advised they will not be seeking re-election.

The exodus has raised fears Labor could lose the majority despite a recent Newspoll predicting Mr Andrews remains on track to win a third term as state leader.

I can't believe Victorians would be silly enough to elect Andrews for a third term.

Victoria has recorded 1,254 new local COVID-19 cases and five deaths, as the state reaches its target of 90 per cent full vaccination for those aged 12 and over.
Key points:

Most of Victoria's COVID restrictions lifted on Friday in anticipation of the state reaching the 90 per cent vaccination target
Under new rules triggered on Friday, unvaccinated Victorians can no longer visit non-essential retail stores
Industry groups say retail workers have reported increased incidents of abuse due to the new rules

There are now 10,276 active cases of the virus in Victoria, and 487 people have died during the state's current Delta outbreak.

There are 310 people in hospital with COVID-19, of whom 48 are in intensive care and 31 are on a ventilator.

The health department said a further 48 people were in intensive care but their COVID-19 infections were no longer considered active.

Despite an uptick on yesterday's hospital figures, the overall trend for hospitalisations has continued to fall.

But the seven-day moving average for daily infections has been rising for the past five days.
