Monk has made a false statement. What he said on his Site is incorrect. That in itself does not disqualify him from being in the running. I would like to hear from him here about why he made that silly remark on his site. I have seen lots of stupid, completely wrong posts made in the last week or so.....Hi Mantra........but one moment of stupidity does not take Monk out of the running.

That he made the comment is probably something he regrets, and he has the opportunity to explain the brain snap.

A mod is appointed to kick heads, while Admin does whatever admins do, above the fray. There is no modding style FFS.

This is another reason to disqualify you as a Moderator, because you are not moderate.
You pick fights, get head kicked and play victim.
A Mod is supposed to stop petty disputes dominating the forum, and bugger all alse.
Your constant demands for new rules (to ban things you constatly indulge in) and lobbying for Mod position, which you then claim you don't want (many times) is clear evidence you are too inadequate for genuine debate, so seek to censor anything that dents your fragile ego, because your only consistencies are dishonesty and tantrums when your dishonesty is challenged or exposed.

I do not want nor am in a position to take on any responsibilities.
I'm 90km from home on a borrowed computer, and am not computer savvy enough to deal with technical issues, so would be incompetent, even if I wanted to do it.

I cannot commit to a task I may not be around to do.
If I go bush in the next few days, as intended, I might not return for weeks.
But when I do, if JM is Mod, I'll probably just leave in disgust.

As you can see .. I was trying to get the topic back on track by listing the names of those who were being put forward for consideration. It's impt that those members whose names have been thrown in the hat .. also have an opportunity to respond by indicating whether or not they are able to or indeed wish to take on the responsibility of modding.
