We develop a space capability—start working on “space sails” that are basically solar panels that are miles-to-a-side solar panels. Power produced 25/7/365—no night, no winter in space! (Do have space weather incl solar flares.)

Arthur C Clarke described a race around the earth of spaceships with huge sails driven by the solar wind.
