Colour perception and symbolism are different in different cultures and there are variations in different historical periods even within same culture.

In Western cultures, red is associated with danger, love, action, passion, energy and excitement, revolution and communism.
Red in an auspicious color in Asian cultures. In many Asian countries, red is the color of long life, happiness, celebrations, prosperity, joy and good luck.
Spirituality, sensuality, fertility, power, wealth, fire, fear, beauty, love and purity are the terms associated with the color red in India.
In some African countries, it’s a symbol of death. In Nigeria, red represents vitality and aggression.
In Iran, it is a symbol of courage and good fortune. Egyptians believe that red is a lucky charm.
Thais honor the god Surya (sun) by wearing red on Sundays.

I like red Pacific salmon better then pink Atlantic one.

True Tdl, art in itself is purely subjective.

Me too, red salmon is to my way of thinking more healthy, nutritious, vibrant and fresh.
Not a fan of anaemic farmed salmon myself, it's fed on pellets and isn't good for us.

Pink salmon = cat food lol

There's a very good reason fast food giants use red in their signage. Red makes people hungry, aggressive and sense of urgency.....

Hence so many drivers take paint off their cars and abuse other driver's and poor fast food workers also in their chaotic drive-throughs lol

I saw a p- plater completely trash the side of probably his parents SUV last week, he came into the drive through like fangio, took out both left side doors, I was actually shocked by the amount of damage.

Pink salmon is ok when hot smoked and it can be redden by adding beetroot in brine.

Same goes for white Australian salmon, which biologically not salmon at all.

I like real Salmon, and won't buy Australian salmon because it's been genetically engineered and yields unhealthy saturated fat.

No thanks to trying to make something fake look real.

Wild caught only.

I'm a bit particular when it comes to ocean regions and will always check on my phone where it comes from precisely.

One of my quirks I guess, like bleaching my white 100% cotton bed sheets, and only buying organic farmed cotton or hemp, especially for sleeping whereby chemicals and pesticides get absorbed more while you heat up and sleep. Especially children.

Organic cotton sleepware is quite affordable, often tables in Target sell pieces for under $10 a piece, and I am not really bothered if it has a stupid slogan or doesn't match bottoms.
Especially affordable at the end of season sales to put away for next year.

I only have to sleep in it, who cares what it looks like, as long as it's comfortable. Synthetic sheets and sleepware is like sleeping in gladwrap. Yuck
Sweaty 🤮

I'm definitely not the sexiest dressed female, I am more about comfort when it comes to sleepware, let's face it, we spend most of our lives wearing it, I'm in my PJs straight after my evening shower, usually between 5 and 6. So.....

I couldn't care less if a handsome fireman has to rescue me wearing my daggy sleepware lol

Getting back on track.....

Poor old Charles is not going to be on the throne for long, meaning his queen mistress won't have her bogus title for long either.

The true queen is Diana, and she's with God looking after children who've lost their lives due to traumatic circumstances I'll bet.

Camilla De'vile is not my Queen.

Of course Charles is bitter about this, had hoped to enjoy longevity the way both his parents did. Hence - "red"

Honestly, I've never tasted it, native and wild, yes I'd give this a go.

Thanks.

Is it good?

It is bony and oily so is unappreciated by many people but it is excellent, IMHO, when hot smoked.
