I figure there are plenty of fucked up people, in all sorts of jobs associated with death, you can only hope that there are sufficient oversights to ensure they don't do harm, in civilised societies.

Exactly...I mean who the fuck would ever decide to major as a proctologist?
Of course, they're needed but what sort of person says after 3-4 years of medical studies says "yeah! Colons, shit and arseholes is what I want to do with the rest of my life"
