Science: Experiments performed by a European nuclear research group indicate that the sun, not man,
determines Earth's temperature. Somewhere, Al Gore just shuddered as an unseasonably cool breeze blows by.

The results from an experiment to mimic Earth's atmosphere by CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, tell researchers that the sun has a significant effect on our planet's temperature. Its magnetic field acts as a gateway for cosmic rays, which play a large role in cloud formation.

Consequently, when the sun's magnetic field allows cosmic rays to seed cloud cover, temperatures are cooler. When it restricts cloud formation by deflecting cosmic rays away from Earth, temperatures go up.

Or, as the London Telegraph's James Delingpole delicately put it:

"It's the sun, stupid."

This new finding of 63 scientists from 17 European and U.S. institutes from an experiment that's been ongoing since 2009 is, if we may paraphrase Vice President Joe Biden, a big [effing] deal. Which is exactly
why the mainstream media, with so much invested in global warming hysteria, is letting last week's announcement from CERN pass like a brief summer shower, ignoring it.

The effects of solar storms cools the Earth.

Now if the 'Precession of the Equinoxes theory is correct, meaning our solar system is bombarded with higher levels of cosmic radiation from the centre of the Milky way, just short of every 13,000 years on its 25,920 year elliptic orbit around the galaxy, the danger is massively increased sun spot activity could weaken the magnetosphere to such a degree the Earth would be susceptible to sudden pole shifts, or even pole flips.
In such an event temperate zones cane freeze over so rapidly a baby mammoth can be snap frozen still with food in its mouth, and polar zones can thaw so quickly that mass flooding affects vast areas.

You lot really should study the history of this planet before dismissing something you clearly know nothing about.

The UK has been claiming to have a HEATWAVE because they had 2 consecutive days at 28C and were advised to buy/apply SPF 15 suncream due to the heat.

An epal of mine wrote that at 62% humidity, it was so hot that she had to take 3 showers a day to cool off. 62% humidity! Then in the next breath said that the medicos are advising people over there to sit out in the "sun" for 15 minutes a day to build up their Vitamin D level. You have to laugh.

The poor old Poms seem to need to whine about something or other. Global Warming would wipe the UK off the map as everyone will die from the thought of it.
