Both my grandfathers (maternal and paternal) married much younger women. I guess that is what happened back then. My great grand mother had a pic of Winston Churchill on her lounge wall, I grew up thinking he was my great grand father lol
My paternal GF married "late", he was in his 40s and she was 18 .... my father was their second kid.
