Your election choices

Post by sprintcyclist » Sat May 04, 2019 8:30 pm

Vote for your local Liberal and Nationals candidate, and you will get a government with a plan to maintain Budget surpluses, pay down Labor’s debt and lower your taxes.

Or risk Bill Shorten and Labor, who will take more of your hard-earned money with their higher taxes on retirees, housing, incomes, investments, family businesses, electricity and more. The last time Labor ran a Budget surplus was in 1989.

A 4.2 billion dollar deficit is not a surplus, much like 700 billion is more than 240 Billion

You have to get the budget back into surplus before you can pay down debt - its taken the Liberal Government this long to fix Labors Mess.

Why would anyone vote labor, WHO WILL, blow the budget again?

He's already making hundreds of Billion of unfunded promises and/or refusing to answer questions on funding.

Labor can't manage money.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

I do not like the idea of taking money away from retirees to pay

for free childcare.....

or people to come from Manus Island to get free medical care...

it isnt RIGHT...

I just looked up the candidates in my seat (I only moved here in January) and I am pissed off. These are my choices:

Australian Democrats
The Greens
Australian Labor Party
Animal Justice party
Australian liberal party
United Australia Party

Seriously, where are the options for a conservative voter who has some serious concerns about the liberal party?

Yes, your choices are not good.
What an awful mob.

Hopefully the national Conservatives have a rep here

Australians should be wary of big spending Labor governments. Last time, Labor delivered six record deficits totalling $240 billion. Labor hasn’t delivered a surplus since 1989.

Labor can’t manage money. That’s why they’re coming after yours.

Again today, Bill Shorten wouldn’t explain the impact of his tax hikes – on retirees, housing, incomes, investments, family businesses, electricity and more.

Bullsh1t!

Labor brought Australia through the worlwide GFC that most western countries are still trying to recover from!

It cost money and fortunately we had been through a mining boom which gave us a convenient surplus to use,

That is despite Howards wasting a lot of it on unsustainable tax cuts to try and win elections.
