Today I purchased a pair of shoes for more than half price.
Not from the following provider detailed in the link however.
I just pinched their image.
It's a great feeling when you find something you have been searching for for a long time, (these shoes have only just started being made again) .....they went out of fashion in the 80's/90's...but have just recently made a come back.
It's not the fashion factor that i'm after, it's the fact they were the most comfy shoes I ever owned.
I think I was about 13 or 14 when I got my first pair....long long ago....lol
About time they brought them back.
If anyone else is interested, they're called Adidas aditracks.

And I just scored a pair of born cita boots, the brown leather bootlet fleece variety ...(bargain, $40 off )
SOMEBODY STOOOOOOP ME AARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!
Just kidding, I do need them, given winters coming and a vast majority of my shoes/boots are currently living in another state.

I own two pairs of Red Wing boots. Not only are the soles stitched onto the shoe rather than glued and the boot lasts forever, you can also send it back to the company to be refurbished/restored when necessary. Yes, the are expensive but when I consider how many pairs of shoes I have thrown away, they are a bargain.

FFS now we are a shopping site.
I own a pair of things (called flipflops everywhere else) just to remind me of home.
