Parliament passes new 'sin bin' rules
By Melinda Howells
29 Oct/2009
Badly behaved Queensland Government MPs face an hour in the 'sin bin' under new rules for Parliamentary debate ...
A bipartisan committee has come up with new standing orders.
If MPs behave badly, the Parliamentary Speaker can now send them out of the House for one hour.
Previously, politicians could only be booted out for a whole day.
Premier Anna Bligh says the threat of time out in the naughty corner will improve behaviour.
Speaker John Mickel says he will still issue a warning first.
"They know me well enough now that if they continue to be grossly disorderly, they'll be dealt with," he said.
"There can be times when passions boil over.
"The best way to resolve that is to have the flexibility to send someone out for up to an hour and I think these changes to the standing orders give me that discretion."
Queensland MPs will also have to run faster to the chamber when a vote is called - they now only have one minute warning, instead of two ...

"But you will run your fluffy bunny mouth at me. And I will take it, to play poker."

ahahahahaha
http://webcast.aph.gov.au/livebroadcasting/ if you feel the driving need to watch our House of Reps aka monkey house.
Filibustering in the Senate is much more difficult here than your way, Of course, they can refer a Bill to a committee and set several months for "investigation" by the committee
