Firebrand father-son politicians Bob and Robbie Katter seem to think so. They are arguing for the secession of North Queensland as Australia’s seventh state as a “no-brainer”.

Bob Katter told news.com.au the current arrangement meant North Queensland was destined to struggle for political attention.
