I note labor and their media mates are now trying it on with the audience reaction completely ignoring what occurs on the tape and instead stating they all laughed and hence what a bunch of low-lifes they are...

yet a listen to the tape shows gasps of disbelief and shock...

A real journalists has investigated...

His off-the-cuff comments were made at what he described as a ''hell of a rollicking night'' at a Sydney University Liberal Club dinner nine days ago.

One of those in the audience on the night said: ''People were quite shocked, wide-eyed looking at each other.''

He also said it appeared that Jones ''actually meant it as some kind of joke … but it was something that went down really badly''. Whatever laughter was heard on the tape was ''awkward laughter'', he said.

Jones's remarks were secretly recorded by a News Ltd reporter, Jonathan Marshall, who bought a $100 student ticket to the event.

As a result of this faux pas - Jones has been tossed out as headline speaker of the next anti-coal seam gas rally and no doubt others will follow and do the same. He was desperately needed as a mouthpiece for the landowners whose properties are being, and will be decimated by gas and coal exploration coyboys.

Boycotting him generally is having a serious flow on effect to issues where he is actually doing some good. Perhaps using him as a political wedge isn't such a great idea.

SHOCK jock Alan Jones has been dumped as headline speaker at an anti-coal seam gas rally on the Tweed next week, with organisers condemning him as a 'thoughtless bastard' for his extraordinary personal attack on Julia Gillard.

Alan Jones has become a champion of the anti-CSG movement, telling the National Press Club last week that prime farming land was being turned into 'a quarry and a worthless lunar landscape' by miners.

The right-wing commentator, who grew up on a farm on the Darling Downs, has even sided with the Greens on the issue.

Jones was to have been guest speaker at the 'Rock the Gate' anti-CSG rally and concert at Murwillumbah on October 13.

But after a public outcry and threats of a boycott, organiser Michael McNamara said the controversial Sydney broadcaster's invitation to speak at the event had been withdrawn.

The saddest thing about this are the people that say, ' oh yea Gloria was wrong BUTTTTT" no buttttts about it, stop trying to turn it into a bitch session about Gillard or left verse right, thats crap . It is all about Jones being a first class asshole about a man that is still warm in his grave.

Jones inappropriately opened his mouth but he wasn't being used as a political wedge or pawn. The man has a mouth as big as the Grand Canyon and wouldn't sit around having his strings pulled

Lying about someone, whether it be the PM, her father, or Alan Jones... is lying. I don't support that.

Jones fucked up, he deserves what he gets.

I think many of us have already agreed on that.

Does the irony of using Gillards old mans death by slimy fucks such as Albasleaze and Emerson escape the ALP?

They may as well have filled up their handbags with pieces of his rotting body to beat TA about the head with on a subject he had nothing to do with.

If Gillard wasn't trying for the sympathy vote, she would have told those stupid fucks to shut up...but I guess even she doesn't really care that her old man died
