Rudd is out of line for abusing a young women for something that is obviously not her fault .

I do however understand Rudds annoyance. I have ordered at restaurants etc and very rarely do I ever get what I specifially ask for..esp. if something has to be prepared that is not strictly on the menu.

He is an extremely busy and under a lot of pressure. Its not a surprise to me that his valve dislodged for a second or two. He is only human. His special meal was not a big ask.

And so they should. It surprised me that the story leaked all these months later, but someone did say it was done on purpose to distract from the Fitzgibbon saga. It's hard to imagine a PM allowing that to happen though - put himself in a bad light to save a friend.

This information should have been kept confidential, but I still think that she should have got the meal right anyway. Rudd works around the clock, was probably very hungry and tired and served a meal he couldn't eat. If the woman is this sensitive - how can she do her job properly working for Australia's defence?
