For an attractive couple it's interesting they had such plain children. Good thing the blood line had a little commoner introduced into it? The grandchildren are better looking than their parents, although not as "well bred". It's the same everywhere. Each generation loses some of the quality of their forefathers.

The terms common people, the masses, or commoners denote a broad social division referring to regular people who are members of neither the nobility nor the priesthood.
